In that case use the following workaround: Disable Gatekeeper: sudo spctl -master-disable. and mac cleanse kept popping up and saying that i had to delete these apps properly and that they could do it.but i had to buy the app for $39.99 or some b.s.anyhow, it was a circular argument since i didn't have the $ to do that in the first was then that i tried to delete insomniax and it kept saying that it was open, but when i would right click on the app, it gave me a lot of options.one of which was to "open" it.but my computer recognized it as already open and then i tried all different ways for the next two hours to delete it and it is still there. ![]() i was trying to get rid of unneeded apps last nite and i came across all of these non-apple apps, but apple-recommended nonetheless.anyhow, i didn't have the $$ right now to take them out of their expired status to permanent app on my mac pro.so i just decided to "clean house" and be done with it.at that time i was deleting mac cleanse, mac keeper and mac something else.but anyhow i noticed that mac cleanse was not cooperating.
